Senas climbs FSU’s home run list
Florida State senior Courtney Senas, a 2010 Mililani alumna, hit her eighth home run of the season on Sunday to help the Seminoles finish off a three-game sweep of North Carolina.
Senas now has 29 home runs in her career, tying her for the second-most in school history.
After hitting .333 with 14 home runs to earn All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors as a junior, the starting center fielder for the Seminoles is hitting .384 with 10 doubles and 38 RBIs in 38 games this year.
Florida State is 34-4 overall, 12-2 in conference and 13-0 at home. The Seminoles are ranked No. 11 in the latest ESPN/USA Today Softball Collegiate Top 25.
