Manoa Valley Church, a United Church of Christ congregation, is inviting the public to take part in a multisensory Experience Easter program.
The program, according to a news release, offers participants a "walk with Jesus through his final days" to experience the "excited crowds of Palm Sunday, the love of the Last Supper, the fatigue of the Garden of Gethsemane, the unfairness of the trial, the pain of the crucifixion, the emptiness of the tomb, and the joy of the resurrection."
The free 75-minute program is set to get underway at 7 a.m. Sunday, starting in the church’s first-floor elevator lobby and ending in the Hiro Higuchi Christian Life Center at 2728 Huapala St., across from Manoa Marketplace.
A continental breakfast will be served from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m., and photo opportunities in front of the flower-laden cross will be available from 8:15 to 9 a.m. A worship service from 9 to 10 a.m. will feature music, a story for children and a brief meditation. Visit www.manoavalleychurch.org or call 988-3271.
