Punahou volleyball team is No. 10 nationally
The Student Sports FAB 50 national rankings has Punahou at No. 10.
Since the list was released earlier in the month, Punahou has continued to go unbeaten against ILH competition.
The Buffanblu also defeated No. 9 Mira Costa (Calif.) and lost to No. 2 Corona del Mar (Calif.) at the Clash of the Titans tournament.
Carvalho to Oregon Tech
Hilo senior Jalen Carvalho will sign a letter of intent Tuesday to play basketball for Oregon Tech.
The 6-foot-3 guard/forward averaged 29 points per game in BIIF play. Carvalho, younger brother of former Vikings standout Jayce Carvalho, also scored 25 points per game during a preseason tournament in California.
He has a 3.2 grade-point average.
Moanalua-Roosevelt baseball postponed
The regular-season finale between Moanalua and Roosevelt was postponed for a second time on Monday.
The game had been scheduled for Saturday, but was rained out.
On Monday, the makeup game was pushed back due to unplayable conditions. The game will be played, barring more wet weather, Tuesday at Stevenson Intermediate School. Game time is 3:30 p.m.

ALYSSA TOBITA
Mililani tennis
Swept her way through the girls singles draw of the OIA tournament, claiming her fourth straight title to match former Mililani standout Erin Hoe (1997-2000). She will try to match Hoe again with a fourth win in the state tennis tournament on Maui beginning May 1.

GOLF
Mariel Galdiano, Punahou: Shot a 76 to hold off teammate Aiko Leong and win the ILH title at Turtle Bay.
Kengo Aoshima, ‘Iolani: The freshman shot a 69 on Turtle Bay’s Fazio Course to win the ILH championship and break Punahou’s three-year run of champions.
BASEBALL
Ryder Kuhns, Saint Louis: Hit an RBI single with two outs in the seventh inning to drive in the winning run against ‘Iolani and help the Crusaders clinch the ILH regular-season title and the trip to the state tournament that comes with it.
Jordan Yamamoto, Saint Louis: Closed out the Raiders with 22/3 scoreless innings in the clincher.
Ranan Mamiya, St. Francis: Ended a marathon with a single in the bottom of the ninth to beat Maryknoll.
SOFTBALL
Aubree Kim, Mililani: Struck out 14 batters in eight innings in a win over Pearl City.
Lauren Taunu’u, Waianae: Hit a double, triple and grand slam in a win over Leilehua.
Rachel Dumlao, Kamehameha: Hit two home runs and had five RBIs in a win over Pac-Five.
TENNIS
Sage Leaman, Mililani: Beat Kalani’s Darrell Huang 6-0, 6-3 to repeat as the OIA boys singles champion. He is only a sophomore.
Kawika Lam, Punahou: Beat Jeffrey Liang of Hawaii Baptist 6-4, 6-3 to win the ILH boys singles title, his second in row.
Ashley Ishimura, Punahou: Beat St. Francis freshman Taylor Lau 6-2, 6-2 to win the ILH girls title.
TRACK AND FIELD
Sammy Marumoto, Punahou: Broke the Punahou Relays record in the girls pole vault with a 12-foot, 7-inch effort and won the long jump at the event at 16-8.
Kauanoe Vanderpeol, Kamehameha-Maui: Swept the boys shot put and discus at the Punahou Relays.
VOLLEYBALL
Skylan Engleman, Moanalua: Confused Leilehua enough with varied attacks from the setter position to put Na Menehune a win from their third straight OIA championship. Moanalua had seven different players with more than seven kills.
