Harlequins, Titans meet for rugby title
The Hawaii Harlequins Rugby Football Club will defend its Rugby Union Hawaii title Saturday against the Titans RFC at Kapiolani Park.
The match is scheduled for 3 p.m.
The Harlequins, in their 50th season, defeated Marist in last week’s semifinal 38-19, with Rowan Newton scoring on five conversions and a penalty kick, and Lomani Tongotong scoring two tries. The Titans advanced via forfeit over regular-season champion Seasiders RC due to the Seasiders’ use of an ineligible player earlier this season.
