Jungle Gems owners Kimberly Moore and Brent Lindberg have put their 26-year-old Haleiwa business up for sale. The husband-and-wife couple has produced handcrafted gemstone jewelry from the same spot on the North Shore, though the 450-square-foot space doubled over time.
"Other than Coffee Gallery and Raging Isle, we have been the longest-operating retailer in the North Shore Marketplace," Lindberg said in a statement.
Store merchandise is being marked down as the couple prepares to either sell the business or close the store.
"It’s a bittersweet time for us," Moore said. "We have loved the business and community in which we work, but at the same time we are ready to pursue some other interests."
