Employers at the WorkForce job fair Wednesday at the Blaisdell Center will gather job seekers’ data using Recpass, a software tool that uses optical scanning technology to reduce paperwork and the time it takes to record information about applicants. About 180 employers have signed up for the event.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $3 general and $1 for students with school ID, seniors 55 and older, and military with ID.
Alan Wong’s Restaurant, Kualoa Ranch, Hawaii Pacific Health and BAE Systems will be among the companies looking to fill vacancies.
Job seekers can go to www.recpass.com/workforce-job-fair and upload their resumes. At the fair they can print a badge with a code that employers can scan to obtain the job seeker’s resume and contact information.
