The evening includes a candy art show; sake tasting; and food from Morimoto, Doraku, MW Restaurant, Grand Cafe Bakery and Sansei Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar.

Shop to support student film project
Customers at Whole Foods Kahala have a chance to support the independent film "I am Haloa" simply by shopping on May 21.
The film by Daniel Anthony features three Kamehameha Schools seniors who commit to 90 days of cultivating and eating kalo as a means of establishing a link to a traditional Hawaiian lifestyle.
The store will donate 5 percent of the day’s net sales to Hawai’i Maoli, nonprofit sponsor of the film.
Whole Foods in Kailua will follow suit on June 11.
On both days, Anthony and the students — Lahela Paresa, La’ahiahoaalohaokekaimalie Kekahuna and Taylor Anne Meali’i Fitzsimmons — will demonstrate pounding taro into paiai and offer tastes.
