HTC HOSTS ‘CASABLANCA’ GALA
3. HTC board members Jerry Mount, left, and Paula Sussex joined Elizabeth Grossman and retired Adm. Tom Fargo as they took a break outside the ballroom. The “Casablanca” theme of the party included veteran actor Daniel James Kunkel in character as a World War II-era French policeman, and a roulette table just like in the classic 1942 film. Gambling winnings at the Halekulani were paid out in raffle tickets rather than real money, but there still was a long wait for an opportunity to play.
