Clothing sale to aid Dress for Success
YWCA of Oahu is hosting a benefit clothing sale for Dress for Success, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Laniakea YWCA lobby at 1040 Richards St. Admission is free.
Sales of new and used women’s clothing and accessories will help support economically disadvantaged women re-entering the workforce.

Learn native culture over some tea
Designer Nake’u Awai is hosting "Tea and Talk Story" every Sunday at Na Mea Hawai’i/Native Books at Ward Warehouse from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The event features a different Hawaiian-culture guest each week.
Listen in while enjoying a simple tea service and a scone selection from local bakeries, at $5 per person. Guests slated to join Awai are:

Dress up and enjoy lots of fairy-tale fun
A fairy-tale fashion show and costume contest will take place beginning 9 p.m. Saturday when 80s Pop Muzik presents "Fairest of Them All" at Bar 35 in a timely nod to the release of Disney’s "Maleficent."
There will be a performance by Malia Delapenia, director of Belly Dancers in Paradise, and everyone is invited to dress up in their favorite fairy-tale costume, with a $100 cash prize for most original.
