HONORING MILITARY FAMILIES Stanley W.O. Lum, left, executive director of the Armed Services YMCA, talked with Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet, and retired Army Gen. David Bramlett at the Celebrating the Military breakfast, a fundraiser for the association’s programs supporting military families, Friday at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. “Our nation’s military forces simply could not carry out our duties without the critical support of our families and our loved ones,” Harris said in his keynote address. Bramlett added a touch of humor while introducing the admiral when he said the 1978 Naval Academy graduate “could have gone to West Point.”
