Dietitian to discuss ties of food, faith
Dietitian Rita Madden will speak on a faith-based diet to support our bodies, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Madden, host of the podcast "Food, Faith and Fasting," which runs on Ancient Faith Internet Radio, will discuss people’s relationship with food, and foods that address both cultural traditions and aid in staying healthy. Madden will also discuss healthy fasting.

Citrus fruits liven up healthful menu
With summer comes an abundance of fruit, and Castle Medical Center’s Wellness Center will show how to "Add Zest With Citrus" to your dishes.

Chef shares home for Persian class
Take a cooking class from chef Paris Nabavi and support Grow Some Good, a nonprofit program that offers hands-on learning about food and nutrition.
Nabavi is opening his Kaanapali, Maui, home on June 28 to share some of his Persian cooking secrets.
