Artists will sell creations at teahouse in Manoa
The Waioli Tea Room will be the site of the Take Five Sale by a quintet of local artists from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
Up for grabs will be handmade, one-of-a-kind purses by Lynda Sakraida of Hadji Baba Bags; silver clay jewelry by Candice Wakumoto; screen-printed T-shirts, shirts and dresses by Kim Messier; exotic bead jewelry by Cora Yee; and baked treats by kitchen artist Sweet Charlotte.
The Waioli Tea Room is at 2950 Manoa Road.
Limu design unveiled at Waikiki Aquarium
The Waikiki Aquarium has unveiled a limu design apparel by Hawaii island-based designer Sig Zane, with a portion of sales to benefit the aquarium’s programs.
The collection of aloha shirts ($99) and blouses ($79) is available at The Shop at the Aquarium and online at SigZane.com.
