Waimea Bay Swim set for Saturday

The 26th Surf ‘N’ Sea North Shore Swim Series continues Saturday with the Cholo’s Waimea Bay Swim, a 1.2-mile course encircling the bay.

Last year’s event drew an international field of more than 700 swimmers, with Jayson Hagi and Ashley Forsyth winning their respective divisions.

Registration is available at Active.com and on the beach Saturday prior to the 9 a.m. start.

Boxing certification clinics set

USA Boxing is offering certifications for coaches and for officials next month at Pearlside Boxing Gym in Kapolei.

The coaches clinic is July 12 and the officials clinic on July 13. Both run from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Coaches and officials must be registered with USA Boxing prior to attending.
