Man hospitalized after stabbing assault
Honolulu police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday morning on the 1600 block of Kalakaua Avenue in the Makaloa Street area.
Paramedics took a 26-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition after he was apparently stabbed several times and assaulted, according to an Emergency Medical Services report. The man, who was treated at a hospital, was later listed in stable condition.
Police on Tuesday said detectives had no suspects and did not know the reason for the attack.
Emergency crews got to the scene at about 7:20 a.m. on Kalakaua Avenue mauka of Kapiolani Boulevard.
2 injured in auto-motorcycle collision
A motorcycle and car collided on Dillingham Boulevard on Tuesday morning, critically injuring a man in his 30s and seriously injuring a 24-year-old woman.
The accident happened at about 9 a.m. at Dillingham Boulevard at Kohou Street in Kalihi, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
Police closed the Ewa-bound lanes of Dillingham Boulevard while Traffic Division officers investigated the crash.
