Okamura tied for 20th at eGolf Tour event
Garrett Okamura of Wailuku shot an even-par 71 and is tied for 20th place after Friday’s third round of the eGolf Tour’s Southern Open in Kannapolis, N.C. The Hawaii Hilo alum is at 7-under 206, 11 strokes behind leader Jack Fields. Okamura led after Wednesday’s first round with a 65.
Football camps for youths in July
The GPA Football Maximum Experience clinics will be held on July 19-20 at Saint Louis School. The instructional combine is open to players of all levels.
The youth camp for players in grades 1 to 5 will be held on July 19 and the intermediate camp for players in grades 6 to 9 will be held on July 20. The fee for the youth camp is $65 for early registration and $79 at the door. Intermediate registration fee is $75 for the early rate and $89 at the door. All participants will receive a shirt, lunch and combine certificate.

Fundraiser for Campbell coach
A 3-on-3 basketball tournament fundraiser is being held for Campbell coach Wyatt Tau, who recently lost his home in a fire. The tournament is scheduled for Aug. 20 at Campbell with a $20 donation per player. Tau is the head basketball and track coach and is an assistant on the football team.
