Flood advisory issued for Big Island
The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the Big Island until 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
Radar showed moderate to heavy rain across the windward slopes of the Big Island in areas around Hilo, Mountain View and Wood Valley.
Other areas in the advisory include Pepeekeo, Keaau, Pahoa and Volcano.
