Alo adds another wrestling gold
Kamehameha junior Teshya Alo repeated as a champion at the Junior Nationals wrestling tournament in Fargo, N.D., on Tuesday.
Alo was named the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament after beating Kayla Miracle of Indiana by a 10-0 technical fall in the title match and clinched a spot on the ASICS All-American team for the second year in a row.
That gives Alo, a two-time state champion, two gold medals in less that a week. She won the Cadet World title in Slovakia by beating Ksenia Nezgovorova of Russia on Thursday.
