» Toni Schwartz, state Department of Public Safety spokeswoman, said the department is talking with the union representing prison guards about possibly searching guards to prevent contraband from being brought into prisons. A news article Wednesday reported that she said the department was talking directly to the guards about possible searches. Also, she said prisoners and their accomplices "will always try to find a way" to sneak contraband into prisons. The story, and "The Last Word" quote on news story Thursday, misquoted her as saying, "They will always find a way."
