UH men in another midnight game
For the seventh straight year, the Hawaii men’s basketball team will participate in a late-night game for ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-off Marathon.
The Rainbow Warriors will face High Point of the Big South Conference in an ESPN2-televised game tipping off at 12:01 a.m. on Nov. 18. The game is also the finale of the 50th Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic.
It will be the third game of the season, following standard contests against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Cal State Bakersfield on Nov. 14 and 15. For ESPN, the UH-High Point game bridges nearly two full days of basketball on Nov. 17 and 18.
UH is 4-2 in the event. Last season it lost to New Mexico State in the midnight game, 95-88.
