Suspect charged in stabbing of 3 people
Prosecutors charged a 39-year-old Moiliili man Tuesday with stabbing three people during a fight early Sunday morning.
Michael Ford was charged with three counts of second-degree attempted murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder. His bail was set at $250,000.
A 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital Sunday in critical condition, along with another man and a woman, both 26, who were in serious condition.
The alleged stabbings happened during a fight near South Beretania and Griffiths streets at 1:12 a.m. Sunday, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
The suspect was arrested seven hours later on Beretania near where the fight occurred, police said.
Man’s body found off Ala Moana park ID’d
The city Medical Examiner’s office has identified a 61-year-old Kapolei man whose body was found in the ocean at Ala Moana Beach Park on Friday as Richard Oshiro.
The body was discovered by a paddleboarder at about 5 p.m. floating in the lagoon off the tennis court area.
Alleged road rage incident leads to arrest
Police arrested a 26-year-old Kalihi man who allegedly assaulted a 34-year-old man Monday during an apparent road rage incident near Castle Junction.
Police said the assault stemmed from a traffic incident during afternoon rush hour at 5:10 p.m. Monday when the suspect entered the other man’s vehicle near Pali and Kamehameha highways and assaulted him, police said.
Police arrested the suspect at 5:45 p.m. Monday on suspicion of first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.
