In a surprise move, Celine Dion has canceled her remaining shows at Caesars Palace, including dates scheduled in 2015. Dion had pulled out of recent shows because of a throat ailment but says this decision relates to her husband-manager’s health problems and her desire to devote full attention to assisting his recovery following recent surgery.
Dion will also postpone a scheduled tour of Asia.
While a news release indicated that shows would be discontinued "until further notice," a plan for a return to Caesars was not addressed. Advance-purchase tickets will be refunded.
