Hawaii Hilo soccer splits in B.C.

Ashley Borja-Roese scored the lone goal in the 51st minute as the Hawaii Hilo (1-1) women’s soccer team defeated Simon Fraser (0-1) 1-0 on Sunday.

» On the men’s side, Raad Aljabi knocked in the match-winning goal in the 99th minute as Sonoma State (1-1) defeated Hawaii Hilo (0-1) on Sunday 1-0. Neither team scored during regulation as both teams’ goalkeepers combined for 11 saves.
