City IDs motorcyclist killed in crash
The city Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 46-year-old motorcyclist who was killed when he lost control of his bike and hit a guardrail on Kamehameha Highway as Jaroslav Kedl.
Kedl died of multiple trauma in the crash Sept. 14 near Arizona Street.
Police said excessive speed may have been a factor.
Witnesses reported Kedl lost control while heading toward Diamond Head and crashed his 2003 Suzuki GSX 1300 motorcycle into a metal guardrail. Kedl, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle.
