Spotlight on Korea for HIFF this year is looking really strong with eight great films and a couple of celebrity attendances. Scheduled to appear are megastar Kang Dong-Won ("Jeon Woo Chi," "Country Princess," "Duelist," "Voice of Murderer," "Secret Reunion" and "Kundo: Age of the Rampant"), who will be here for his latest film "My Brilliant Life," along with director EJ Yong ("Untold Scandal," "The Actresses," "Homecoming" and "Behind the Camera"), who will be making his second visit to HIFF. Kang and Yong’s visit to HIFF is sponsored by KBFD TV, Big Island Candies and Hawaiian Airlines, which has a direct flight to Incheon-Seoul five days a week. HIFF fall festival runs from Oct. 30 through Nov. 9.

"Rosy Day"
Episodes 27 and 28
Sunday, 6:30 p.m.: Chul-soo has had it with everyone, especially after he finds out about Soon-ok’s condition. He rents the house out to Hyun-bin and tells Da-jung to stop coming to the house. Ihn-woo and So-heecrash Jae-woo’s date with Da-jung. Shin-ae decides to use Da-jung’s father to break them up. She gives him the money to pay for the settlement so he can spend more time with his family.
Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: After Ihn-song gets the money from Shin-ae, he pays the settlement and quits work at the hotel. Young and Jae-woo try to find out where he got the money. Shin-ae tries to sabotage Jae-woo’s relationship with Da-jong. She even tells him about Dah-ae’s wedding. Jae-woo notices something amiss with his mother and questions her about it. Da-jong notices something wrong with Soon-ok’s hand.
"Temptation"
Episodes 15 and 16
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: When Sae-young puts up a fight, Min-woo resorts to his ultimate plan to destroy her company. While looking into Min-woo’s slush fund details, Seok-hoon sees Min-woo go to his country house with Ji-sun, his ex-wife.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Sae-young’s company is targeted for audit thanks to Min-woo. Chairman Yoo tells Sae-young to ask Min-woo for help to avoid the audit. When Min-woo learns Seok-hoon knows about the secret ledgers he’s keeping in his country house, he suspects Hong-joo.
"It’s Okay This Is Love"
Episodes 13 and 14
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Dong-min and Young-jin tell Hae-soo about Jae-yeol’s condition and Kang-woo. Shocked, Hae-soo goes to see Jae-yeol and asks him about Kang-woo. Jae-yeol tells Hae-soo that he’s worried Kang-woo might kill himself.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: Hae-soo decides to commit Jae-yeol to a hospital and spends the last night with him before he’s committed. Jae-yeol is able to sleep peacefully in the bed with Hae-soo, and that breaks Hae-soo’s heart even more. On his way to see Jae-bum, Jae-yeol gets a call from Kang-woo that this is the last time he’ll call him.
"Endless Love"
Episodes 21 and 22
Friday, 7:45 p.m:Kwang-hoon delivers the opposition party leader’s letter to In-ae. But In-ae spits up blood and collapses after telling him to get out of her sight. Kwang-hoon begs General Cheon to save In-ae’s life, but General Cheon tells him to leave In-ae’s matter to Kwang-cheol since she’s pregnant with his child.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Close to her due date, In-ae is released on special pardon. But she’s taken to the hospital where she gets into a scuffle with agents who watch her. At the hospital, she runs into Hye-jin and her parents. Park Young-tae finds out Kwang-hoon and Kwang-cheol are Han Gap-soo’s sons.
