OIA chief official says referee made the right call
Farrington quarterback Montana Liana, who was ejected for a late hit on a Mililani player during Saturday’s 41-14 loss to the Trojans, faces a one-game suspension.
"(Officials) made the right call. It was a hit on a defenseless player," said OIA chief official Jim Beavers, who saw the game video later.
Liana’s hit on Mililani defensive back Ramsey Tacadena occurred after Tacadena had intercepted Liana’s pass at the end of the first half.
Farrington plays Campbell at Aloha Stadium on Saturday.
