Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot by mail or in person for the Nov. 4 general election.
To vote absentee by mail: Submit an application or write a letter to your county clerk and specify the address you want your ballot mailed to; applications must be submitted to the county clerk by Oct. 28.
You must return your voted absentee ballot to your city/county clerk by 6 p.m. Nov. 4, Election Day.
Registered voters may also vote early — no special reason is needed — at walk-in absentee voting sites, starting Oct. 21 and wrapping up Nov. 1. Here’s a list of walk-in sites.
