» The Play: RB Shaun Wick bulls through the line of scrimmage and breaks tackles on the way to a 20-yard touchdown run.
» Impact: Wick finished with 121 yards on 24 carries. Wyoming scored the first 14 points and led until the fourth quarter.
» Wyoming coach Craig Bohl: "Typically when we’ve gotten ahead of people we’ve been able to put the hammer down, and we didn’t do that tonight."
2. Multiple weapons

» The Play: QB Taylor Graham finds TE Jordan Puu-Robinson for a 9-yard pass and a first down.
» Impact: Hawaii, which had been having red-zone problems all season, follows up the second third-down conversion of the drive with a 16-yard touchdown pass from Graham to Quinton Pedroza. Six different players advanced the ball during the drive. Pedroza scored a second TD in the fourth quarter and finished with seven catches for 118 yards.
» Pedroza: "It’s like all the hard work is paying off since camp. We’re getting things done."
3. Adjusting

» The Play: Wick is stopped for a 4-yard loss by DE Beau Yap and Wyoming is forced to punt.
» Impact: The Hawaii defense set the tone early in the second half, in which it allows just 93 yards. On the ensuing possession Hawaii scores on an 11-yard run by Keelan Ewaliko.
» Yap: "They’re a downhill running team and we had the right call for the play and I was lucky to be in position to make a play. We all did our job, I just did my one-eleventh."
4. Return of Woolsey
» Situation: Wyoming 28, Hawaii 17, 0:07 remaining, third quarter, Hawaii ball, third-and-5 at own 47
» The Play: QB Ikaika Woolsey scrambled and under pressure lofted a pass to Pedroza for a 53-yard touchdown pass.
» Impact: Woolsey, the former starter who replaced Taylor Graham after Graham was injured on the last play of the first half, took a big hit but stayed in the game and finished with 8-for-9 passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns.
» Woolsey: "I knew I was going to take a hit. I figured I’d take a hit and make the best of it."
5. Trayvon
» Situation: Wyoming 28, Hawaii 24, 13:27 remaining, fourth quarter, Wyoming ball, third-and-5 at own 45
» The Play: Hawaii safety Trayvon Henderson picks off a pass as QB Colby Kirkegaard is hurried by pressure.
» Impact: Five plays later, Woolsey completed a 40-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Kemp, giving Hawaii the lead. Henderson intercepted another pass later to help Hawaii seal the win.
» Henderson: "Our coaches always tell us we’re interconnected. If the (line) gets good pressure then the DBs might get an interception. If we have good coverage then the D-linemen have a chance to get sacks."
