The law firm of Imanaka Asato has announced:
» Jeanine O. Cornwell has joined the civil litigation section of the firm. Previously, she served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the City & County of Honolulu and a judicial clerk for Associate Judge Daniel R. Foley of the Intermediate Court of Appeals for the state of Hawaii.
» Stephanie L.S. Deweese joined the real estate development and finance section of the firm. Previously, she served as a law clerk with Central Pacific Bank, extern for Associate Judge Lawrence Reifurth in the Intermediate Court of Appeals, and a law clerk in the Office of the United States Attorney for the Hawaii district.
A&B Properties, the real estate subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin, has promoted Dan Yasui to vice president, permitting. He joined the company in December 1997 as a project manager and was promoted to director of planning and entitlement in 2004. Before A&B, he served as a general manager of development at KG Hawaii Corp., a subsidiary of Kumagai Gumi Co.
