Let’s party like it’s $3.99 a gallon!
It’s delightful seeing "3" as the first digit on those gas-station price signs, isn’t it?
As the Star-Advertiser reported a few days ago, the statewide average cost for a gallon of gas has dropped below $4 for the first time since March.
This is all due to a global plunge in oil prices, which affects the costs of just about everything. Already the electricity rates have dropped, accordingly.
Here’s hoping we can see some improvement in airfares, too. Hawaiian Air execs, we’re just waiting to hear that good news.
