CookSpace Hawaii classes involve wine, Korean food

CookSpace Hawaii offers a variety of classes in the coming weeks, from Korean cooking to mixed drinks.

First up is Hawaii-style Korean cooking featuring Joan Namkoong, author of "A Korean Kitchen: Traditional Recipes With an Island Twist."

Namkoong will teach the basics of a Korean marinade and how to prepare meat jun, zucchini jun and mandoo served with rice cakes.

The class will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday; cost is $88.40, which includes a copy of Namkoong’s book.

All classes will be held at Cook­Space in Ward Warehouse. To register, visit cook­space­hawaii.com/classes.

» Bubbles & Bites with Christy Sie­vert, certified wine professional and director of marketing for Crave magazine, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5. Cost: $57.59.
