Police arrested a 28-year-old man who allegedly pointed what appeared to be a gun at a motorist in an apparent case of road rage Monday.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. in the Ala Moana area following an accident.
Police said the 45-year-old victim walked out of his car to assess damage to his vehicle when the suspect drove by the victim, pointed a replica gun at him and allegedly threatened him.
Officers located the suspect on Kapiolani Boulevard near Ala Moana Center and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and two weapon-related violations.
The suspect was released pending further investigation.
