Honolulu Police Chief Louis M. Kealoha has announced the promotion of 30 officers and five civilian employees.
Two new majors: Andrew Lum, currently public information officer, will be assigned to the Honolulu Police Department’s Information Technology Division; and Crizalmer Caraang, who will move to District 5 (Kalihi).
Two new captains and their assignments: Neville Colburn, Training Division; and Rade Vanic, Office of the Chief
Three new lieutenants and their assignments: Patricia-Ann Heely, District 1 (Central Honolulu); Gary Sunada, Community Affairs Division; and Eric Yosemori, Community Affairs Division
Promoted to sergeant and detective positions: James Cavanaugh, Mae Kim, Eric Lalau, Lane Nogawa, Kendall Prochnow, Micah Putnam, Kyle Suemori, Christine Thomas and Richard Yates-Siilata
Fourteen new corporals: Robert Canady, Clarence Clites, Ross Furuhashi, Darren Lee, Eric Lorica, Michael McKinney, Leroy Meheula Jr., Stephen Rivas, Robert Sakura, Ashley Stibbard, Ryan Tamashiro, Chad Tanaka, Kenny Tsang and Michele Yoshiki
The civilians promoted and their assignments: Puanani Keopuhiwa, Training Division; Reid Nishimoto, Gieselle Ruiz, Krystal Siegert and Mendel Wong, all Traffic Division
The officers’ promotions took effect Sunday. Civilian employee promotions went into effect earlier.
