Flyin’ cookie partnership
Honolulu Cookie Co. has teamed up with World Series champion Shane Victorino to create a limited-edition "Flyin’ Hawaiian" gift box this holiday season.
The box features 16 cookies in eight flavors: pineapple macadamia, butter macadamia, chocolate-dipped macadamia, triple chocolate macadamia, lilikoi mango, dark chocolate Kona coffee, white chocolate coconut and chocolate chip macadamia.
Baseball cards autographed by Victorino will be hidden in 18 of the boxes.
Boxes are $14.95, with $2 going to the Shane Victorino Foundation, an organization that assists children in need.
Honolulu Cookie stores are at Ala Moana Center and Ward Warehouse, as well as in several Waikiki hotels. Go to honolulucookie.com for a full list of locations or to order online.
On the website, the company is taking nominations for a contest recognizing outstanding community volunteers. The three who receive the most Facebook "likes" will win a ball, bat or cap autographed by Victorino. The contest ends Dec. 9. Call 866-333-5800.
