Man robs woman during argument in Waikiki hotel
Police are looking for a 23-year-old man accused of robbing his date early Sunday morning in Waikiki.
Police said the suspect and a 36-year-old woman are in a dating relationship and that the woman invited the man to her hotel room at about 12:15 a.m.
The couple began arguing, and the man allegedly took the woman’s money. When the woman tried to stop the man, he grabbed her and hit her head on the ground, police said.
Police opened a second-degree robbery investigation.
Victim’s beating brings arrest and charges
Police have charged a 31-year-old man with beating a 24-year-old woman in Wahiawa on Nov. 9.
According to police, Blaine Way violated an order of protection and assaulted the woman.
Way was arrested Friday and charged with abuse and violating an order of protection. His aggregate bail was set at $3,000.
