Three Gap Inc. brands are the latest tenants to sign leases at a planned $500 million Kapolei mall. Old Navy, Gap and Banana Republic have agreed to open at the complex known as Ka Makana Alii, the 1.4 million-square-foot regional mall opening in West Oahu in 2016. Other retailers already on board include Macy’s, H&M and Forever 21.

Mall developer DeBartolo Development signed a lease for the site last week with the state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands. Old Navy is expected to occupy 12,500 square feet in its fourth Hawaii store, while Gap’s fifth location will be 7,200 square feet. Banana Republic will open a 6,500-square-foot store, its sixth location in the state.
