    This wreath, made with pencils, was awarded the Mayor's Holly Award (Best in Show).

    "Enchanted Hala Forest" by Harris Okuda
    Okuda's wreath was put together using 60 interconnected pieces. Each piece was hand-carved, sanded and painted.

    Each cork in this wreath was inserted with a toothpick and attached to a straw base.

    Toys, knicknacks and sticks were glued to a base. The fringe surrounding the toys was added to fit the "enchanted forest" theme.

    The moss-covered base is decorated with miniature villages created using toilet paper rolls, construction paper and glitter.

    This kitty wreath is dedicated to Karin Okumoto's cat who died in September. She used packing popcorn, spiral notebook binding and bottle caps.

    Recycled plastic bottles, packing tape, nail polish, ribbon, terry cloth and twigs were used to construct this magical creation.

    "Plastic Pretties" by Tammy Lave's 3rd Grade Class, St. John Vianney Parish School
    The entire wreath including the base is made using recycled plastic bottles. The flowers were cut from the plastic and painted by the third-grade students.
