» The state does not have liability protection at Mokuleia Wall. The pending resumption of rock climbing at the site was made possible by a deal between the state and the Hawaii Climbing Coalition. A Page B1 story Tuesday reported that the approval of a revocable permit system for rock climbing was made possible under a law passed last year that provides the state with liability protections.
»â€ˆSenate Bill 3065, which sought a study of possible land swaps to enable agriculture expansion in Central Oahu, was passed by the state Senate but died on the Legislature’s final day when it was deferred by the House. An editorial on Page A8 Tuesday said the bill died in the Senate.
