HPR HOSTS HO‘OMANA NA MELE Veteran musician Bailey Matsuda, left, congratulated Ian O’Sullivan, Duncan Kamakana Osorio and Blayne Asing — all his former students at Kamehameha Schools — after their concert/live recording session Dec. 13 at Hawaii Public Radio’s Atherton Performing Arts Studio. The evening included solo sets by Osorio, O’Sullivan and Asing, and a trio performance. They are working together as Ho‘omana Na Mele, and Matsuda said he hopes they reach audiences outside Hawaii.
