As of Tuesday the program had generated $5,000,430, including $2,208,110 in cash and $2,792,320 in trade value for the 2014-15 year with six months to go.
It is the 11th consecutive year the amount has reached a higher level.
The previous mark was set in 2013-14 with $4,989,220, including $2,209,240 in cash and $2,779,980 in trade.
"We are very grateful for the affinity and loyalty that the corporate community has for UH athletics," said John McNamara, associate athletics director for external affairs.
McNamara said 83 businesses are represented across seven levels of sponsorship up to the diamond level, which takes in annual sponsorships of $150,000 and above.
"There are still opportunities for more to come in during the spring," McNamara said.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is among the sponsors.
The athletic department uses trade value to help offset some of its expenses in operating for its 21 men’s and women’s sports.
In addition, Corporate Partners provided more than $200,000 in giveaways and prizes for fans at UH contests through their event sponsorships and promotions.
