Montsuki hosting its second sale ever
Montsuki has hosted only one sale in its 36-year history, and that was in 1980 to mark its first anniversary. The event proved to be so busy that owner/designer Patty Yamasaki’s mother, Janet, now deceased, told her, "Don’t do that again."
Attuned to present-day customers searching for pre-Valentine’s Day and pre-Chinese New Year bargains, Yamasaki is hosting the shop’s second sales event, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Saturday. The selection includes fashion and gemstone jewelry normally priced from $18 to $600 but discounted 35 to 50 percent. Check it out, because you don’t know when the next sale will be.
Montsuki is upstairs at 1132 Koko Head Ave. in Kaimuki. Call 734-3457.
