» Lia Galdeira, Konawaena ’12: The Washington State guard scored a game-high 31 points on 11-for-23 shooting and added six rebounds, six steals and three assists in a 67-65 loss to Eastern Washington last Wednesday in the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
» Dawnyelle Awa, Konawaena ’12: The Washington State guard had two points, two assists and steal against Eastern Washington. The Cougars finished the season 17-15 and advanced to the postseason in consecutive years for the first time in school history.
WOMEN’S GYMNASTICS
» Tiana Montell, St. Joseph’s ’11: The UC Davis senior was named All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in the vault, floor exercise and all-around events and qualified for the NCAA Division I Regional Championship in the all-around as an individual in Saturday’s MPSF Championships. Montell scored a 9.825 in vault, a 9.725 in bars, a 9.725 in beam and a 9,7 in floor to finish with a 38.975 in the all-around.
» Kristi Hayashida, Home School ’13: The Seattle Pacific sophomore earned All-MPSF honors on the beam in the MPSF Championships, tying for first place with a 9.875.
» Tracie Villanueva, Moanalua ’13: The SPU sophomore earned All-MPSF honors on the beam after tying for fourth place at the MPSF Championships with a score of 9.850.

» Jasmine Mau, Punahou ’14: The California freshman finished in third place in the women’s "B" final of the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 54.85 seconds and placed fifth in the women’s "B" final of the 100 butterfly with a time of 52.17 seconds at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday. The Golden Bears won the NCAA women’s title.
» Summer Harrison, Mid-Pacific ’14: The San Diego State freshman finished in 34th place in the 100 butterfly in the preliminaries with a time of 52.90 seconds and swam the third leg on the 400-yard medley relay team that finished 30th in the preliminaries as well as on the 200-yard medley team that finished 28th in preliminary qualifying at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.
» Anu Nihipali, Hawaii Prep ’13: The Wagner College sophomore finished in 34th place in the 100-yard backstroke preliminary heats with a time of 53.39 seconds at the NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships.

» Alyssa Tobita, Mililani ’14: The Oregon freshman was victorious at No. 1 doubles in a 5-2 loss to Utah on Friday and a 4-3 win over Colorado on Sunday. Tobita also won her No. 2 singles match against the Utes.
