Home prices on Maui hardly budged in April, staying within 1 percent of median sale prices for the same month last year, according to data released Thursday night by the Realtors Association of Maui.
Single-family houses on the Valley Isle sold last month for a median $575,000. That was down 1 percent from $583,000 a year earlier.
The median condominium sale price edged up 1 percent to $407,500 from $403,500 in the same period.
The number of single-family house sales ticked up 1 percent to 85 from 84. Condo sales, however, sank 24 percent to 104 last month from 136 a year earlier.
