A 53-year-old man critically injured when he was hit on the head in Kalihi earlier this month died at a hospital Sunday night, and the case was reclassified as a second-degree murder investigation.
Police are still looking for a suspect in the incident, which happened at 4:20 a.m. May 3 near Club Cleopatra, 1095 Dillingham Blvd.
Police said a male suspect struck the victim and fled the scene. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital in critical condition with head injuries.
Homeless person shot in Ewa Beach
Police were looking for a homeless man Monday in connection with the shooting of another homeless man at Oneula Beach Park in Ewa Beach.
The shooting, which occurred at 1:30 a.m. Monday, was being investigated as a second-degree attempted murder case.
Paramedics took the 52-year-old victim to the hospital in serious condition, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.
