Logan Agcaoili of Hawaiian Island Twisters won the all-around gold medal in the Junior 4 Division during the Level 9 Western National Gymnastics Junior Olympic Championships, which ended May 10 in Spokane, Wash.
Agcaoili, who posted a total of 38.075, finished second in the uneven bars (9.650), fifth in the balance beam (9.425), tied for sixth in the floor exercise (9.5) and ninth in the vault (9.5).
Janyce Apuya of Rainbow Gymnastics took the bronze medal in the Senior 5 Division all-around. She placed third in the balance beam (9.325), tied for fourth in the uneven bars (9.30), placed fifth in the floor exercise (9.450) and finished 24th in the vault (9.050).
Brittney Wolfe of Island Tumblers, competing in the Senior 2 Division, finished 18th in the all-around (36.50), including a tie for eighth in the balance beam (9.275).
The other Hawaii gymnasts in the competition were: Ashlyn Takai of HIT (24th in all-around, 35.975; Junior 1 Division), Alyssa Nakamura of Rainbow Gymnastics (25th in all-around, 35.0; Senior 6 Division) and Channe Asuncion of HITs (26th in all-around, 34.450; Junior 2 Division).
