Yo ho ho and a bottle o' rum
Rum was the beverage of the morning as Robert Dawson, left, Kim Taylor Reece, Kim Gennaula, state Sen. Donovan Dela Cruz and Jason Brand celebrated the blessing of the KoHana Rum tasting room and retail outlet May 21 in Kunia. The festivities included rum shots, lunch by Lanai Tabura’s Aloha Plate lunch truck and rum cake doused with a bottle of KoHana rum. Gennaula is holding a premium-edition Kim Taylor Reece rum bottle that has an image of a hula dancer etched into the glass.
