Hawaii’s Tatiana Weston-Webb advanced to the quarterfinals of the Fiji Women’s Pro in Tavarua, Fiji, after winning both of her heats on Monday.
In the third round, Weston-Webb posted a 17.67 to beat fellow Hawaii surfers Carissa Moore (14.87) and Coco Ho (13.44).
In another third-round heat, Hawaii’s Malia Manuel finished second with a 10.50.
Moore, Ho and Manuel will compete in Tuesday’s fourth round.
In the second round, Weston-Webb beat California’s Sage Erickson 18.23 to 11.17, Manuel defeated Australia’s Keely Andrew 12.87 to 8.27, Ho eliminated Hawaii’s Alessa Quizon 16.34 to 13.66 and Australia’s Sally Fitzgibbons ousted Hawaii’s Mahina Maeda 11.06 to 8.57.
Maximum Exposure camp this weekend
The Maximum Exposure Football Camp will be held Friday through Sunday at the UH Manoa athletic fields.
More than 60 college coaches from all levels, including UH and eight schools from the Pac-12, and about 340 high school and junior college athletes from Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam and U.S. mainland are expected to attend. The cap for participants is 400.

Schweitzer wins SUP event in Tahiti
Lahaina’s Zane Schweitzer won the SapinusPro stand-up paddleboard event on Tuesday in Tahiti.
Schweitzer defeated Brazil’s Caio Vaz in the final.
Vaz is atop the world tour standings through two events and Schweitzer is second.
