Hawaii outside hitter Kupono Fey and setter Jennings Franciskovic have been named to the 21-player roster for the U.S. Men’s Junior National Volleyball Training Team.
Also named to the roster is Kamehameha-Hawaii’s Evan Enriques, a libero at Stanford. The team will train June 10-12 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y. The roster will be cut to 12 for the Men’s Under-21 Pan American Cup on June 23-28 in Canada.
The Pan American Cup is the final chance to qualify for the U-21 World Championship on Sept. 12-20 in Mexico.
Fey and Enriques are among the eight players returning from last year’s Men’s Junior National Team that finished third at the NORCECA U-21 Continental Championship.
