Gov. David Ige greeted citizens, reporters and lawmakers before signing off on Senate Bill 1030 and House Bill 525 at the state Capitol on Friday. SB 1030 raises the minimum age for the use of tobacco products to 21 from 18; HB 525 prohibits smoking and the use of other tobacco products at public parks and beaches.
