Oregon State’s KJ Harrison, who is playing for the United States Collegiate National Team, was named to Baseball America’s freshman All-America first team on Monday.

Harrison, who hit .309 with 10 homers and 60 RBIs for the Beavers this season, added Baseball America to his list of freshman All-America teams that include Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.

Harrison was the Pac-12 freshman of the year and first-team all-conference.

He started at catcher for Team USA in a 5-1 loss to Chinese Taipei on Monday in the first of a seven-game series.

Harrison singled for one of Team USA’s six hits and threw out three runners trying to steal.
