The first annual PJ Sports Radio Show Golf Tournament to raise funds for the University of Hawaii’s Ahahui Koa Anuenue foundation will be held on Aug. 6 at Coral Creek Golf Course.
The format is a three-person scramble with a noon shotgun start. There are also long-drive and putting contests. The event’s entry fee is $150 per person or $1,000 for a corporate sponsorship group. The entry cost includes a dinner buffet.
Net proceeds for the event will be donated to AKA.

Pearlside Boxing Club hosts ‘Fight Night 5’
Pearlside Boxing Club will host “Fight Night 5” on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Radford High School cafeteria.
The show will feature two boxers from Australia and Keala O’Sullivan, who placed first in the 1968 Olympic diving trials.
The event will raise funds for Pearlside to compete in the Ringside International Championships in Independence, Mo.
General admission tickets cost $15, $10 for ages 8-17. Ages 7 and under get in free.
Balasi replaces Lopez in Sands’ main event
Pro boxer Michael Balasi (10-6), who has seven knockouts, will fight in the main event against Jamal James (16-0, nine KOs) at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday.
Balasi is replacing Jose Lopez, who pulled out of the bout last week, and will be fighting on a week and a half notice.
